Passage 4:
The Widow’s Offering
41Jesus sat down opposite the place where the offerings were put and watched the crowd putting their money into the temple treasury. Many rich people threw in large amounts. 42But a poor widow came and put in two very small copper coins, worth only a few cents. 43Calling his disciples to him, Jesus said, “Truly I tell you, this poor widow has put more into the treasury than all the others. 44They all gave out of their wealth; but she, out of her poverty, put in everything—all she had to live on.”
This passage is about giving and to put others needs before yours. This lady in poverty has given more then any of the rich who donated she gave less but in gods eyes she gave more. She only gave worth a few cents but really she gave a lot. This passage amazes me of how people in poverty still give to others it's amazing.
People have to realise that we are so lucky for what we have to not take advantage of that!. This relates to social justice because the rich can just pull money out of there pockets but for this lady that's hard and she only gave a few cents but its worth more then that.
