My name is James. I live in Australia where we have rights to education but me and my family is poor, i am only 12 living on the streets of Melbourne asking people for a bit of loose change. they walk straight past me as if i am a ghost.I am starving and cold, because i live in the heart of Melbourne i see little kids in shops about my age crying because they didn't get a toy, but me and my family are so happy to have at least 1 dollar . why do kids take stuff for granted i always ask my self why. my mum is always with my farther crying to him why does it have to be us,I try to ignore it and think of something good but when you she kids that take things for granted you feel worthless
I think - I think that it is ridiculous that any one should have to live like this. - When I see this picture I think about not only this one man that has to sleep on streets I think of them all around the world. - I think that when we are nagging for cloths or a blanket when you don’t need it you should think about people like this. - I think has any one that is not an organisation stop to help this man. I feel - When I see this picture I really stop and think about the things I need and the things that I want. - I feel like a bad person a bit because when I keep nagging for cloths or a blanket, but when you see a man like you re think what you said. I see - What I see is a man that thinks he has no purpose in life any more. - When I see this in a way I see desperation for food, water, cloths, blanket or even someone just to talk to him. - When I see this I just stop and think why people should have to live like this. I wonder - I wonder how he ended up on the street. - I wonder why people don’t have rights to have a roof over their heads with a bed. - I wonder how many people in the world have just walked passed someone like this. I wonder how many people in the world have to live like this. As Matthew said in the bible, people are helping Jesus when they are helping the more in need.
By us helping others in the community, and the ones that are hungryand need clothes. By helping sick we are helping Jesus . So the things that we are doing in our inquiry topic is really similar because we will be trying to help the sick and we will be feeding the hungry, and helping the more in need. As Matthew said in the bible, by us help How does the following passage relate to your actions of community service.
Matthew 25: 31-40 “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne. 32Before him will be gathered all the nations, and he will separate people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33And he will place the sheep on his right, but the goats on the left. 34Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. 35For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, 36I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’ 37Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? 38And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? 39And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ 40And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers,f you did it to me.’ h, this is my first 6s community services blog post this blog will be about helping people in the community
