On the 15th of September, I went down the road to the Riddel Gardens Aged Care Facility. We had to go there because it is part of our inquiry unit. Me, Matt, Grace, Teayanah and Emily went there. We had chats with the elderly there and we had to speak to them and keep there minds active. I spoke to a fellow named Geoff, and he fought in Korea. He told me about his stories in Korea and told me about what it was like. He claimed it was very hot in the summer, and very cold in the winter. he started off as a chef and oved up to rifleman. he also swore a lot and didn't seem to worried about talking about his time there. I also met a women there named Margeret. She was funny, she had worked at a dress making shop on Flinders Lane. Funny my mum worked there as well! We had a good convo and at one point, she asked me; "How many brothers and sisters do you have?". I told her I have three brothers, but she must of had dementia because she asked me that same question 9 times and had a different response everytime. I enjoyed the time there and the people were very kind.
