On September the 10th me and another 5 students went to riddles gardens age care. We went there because it was part of our inquiry unit community service and social justice. When I entered the age care facility I was sort of nervous questions ran through my head like how am I going to introduce my self, who am I going to talk too and what the people in the facility might be like.
When I walked into the facility all of us student entered the activity room most of the people in the room were asleep and some were awake. The first lady I met told me a lot about her past sometimes she had trouble remembering her past and she would just sit still for a few minutes trying to remember.
The second lady I met was really nice she didn't answer most of the questions I expected she said yes and no or she said I like everything . About every 5 minutes she looked at me as she had never seen me before.
My trip to riddles gardens aged facility made me realise to enjoy life and to realise how lucky you are.
